Philip Elliott Polo Ponies

Philip has been riding since he was three years old and has been playing polo since he was thirteen. He trained with some of the most famous people in polo including a five year apprenticeship with Eduardo Moore at his Nueva Escocia Estancia in Argentina.
During his polo career Philip has won all of the major UK tournaments and has trained many ponies who have won best playing pony in as many tournaments. Philip reached a 6 goal handicap and is renowned for his horsemanship within the sport.
Philip is passionate about thoroughbreds and has always trained his own horses. He has now set up a facility in South Oxfordshire totally dedicated to the training, schooling and re-schooling of polo ponies.
Training horses provides the perfect environment for players to learn more about horsemanship in polo and Philip also provides specialist coaching and training to players – and their horses – to improve the all round enjoyment of the sport.
